Bootlegger Small Batch Bourbon Barrel Aged Roast 6oz

Campfire Coffee is proud to introduce our first small batch, limited run, barrel aged roast! Named for the resourceful scamps of the early 1920s, our Bootlegger roast hits you with the distinct notes of a smooth bourbon mixed with a hearty cup of coffee.

We took our single origin Brazilian beans, known for their inherent fruity flavors, and sealed them into a bourbon barrel for four weeks. There, the porous green coffee beans absorbed the trademark tastes of bourbon. They were then roasted to a medium level to best highlight not only the bourbon notes, but also the unique profile of the beans.

Because this is a limited edition small batch, it is only available in 6 ounce bags. To ensure the best tasting cup of coffee, we are only offering whole beans. Once you grind these beans, the flavors do tend to fade faster than a normal roast, so we suggest only grinding as much as you need for the coffee you will immediately drink. We also think these beans are best enjoyed in either a French Press, Percolator, or Pour Over.
