Why We Love Our Coffee

Coffee has been a social drink for thousands of years, and fires have been social settings for even longer. We wanted to blend these two together so that every sip you take makes you feel the sense of community that we love so much. Whether you're visiting our historic downtown Negaunee cafe, or ordering a bag of coffee to drink outside of the Upper Peninsula, we hope our coffees inspire you to get around a campfire with your friends and family.

Specialty Coffee

The Specialty Coffee Association of America created a scoring system to grade coffee. Every roast in the world falls on this scale, but only the highest of scores get to be called "specialty" roasts. Because of our excellent partners who grow exceptional beans, our coffees are graded at a high quality 84 and above, and are therefore considered specialty roasts. We're sure you'll notice the difference in that very first drink!
